A few years ago, a pivotal question changed my life, leading me to a calling: supporting others on their healing journeys. My own path has been shaped by personal experiences, including raising two children, one with special needs, managing a severe autoimmune disease, battling depression, and recently transitioning to an empty nest after over 25 years of marriage.
My 15-year battle with Crohn's disease led to a major dietary shift, significant weight loss, and a continuous quest for healing. Initially focused on physical health, I've come to realize the profound importance of holistic well-being, nurturing not just the body, but also the mind, emotions, and spirit. I have adopted practices that go inward, meditation, breathwork, and journaling with oracle cards and thus deepening an intuition I did not realize I could get in touch with. I have realized that it takes more than a focus on physical health to truly heal.
Driven by these insights and a deep desire to help others, I sought formal health and life coaching training, breathwork and meditation training, and recently earned my Reiki Master Healer certification. I am always pursuing trainings to continually enhance my skills to better serve. From this heartfelt commitment, Finding Tula was born.
Tula (balance) has become my guiding word and life goal. I believe in the power of vulnerability, openly sharing my story. By blending my personal experiences with my training, I meet people where they are, offering a heart-centered space that assists them in their mind, body, and spirit healing.

As a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I guide individuals in achieving specific health goals. Over the past 15 years, I've prioritized health to manage an autoimmune disease, which is often fueled by stress. My passion lies in stress reducing techniques, self care, and promoting healthy eating, emphasizing whole foods and optimizing gut health. I assist in making sustainable dietary changes, prioritizing affordable and nutritious choices, and crafting meal plans. We look at ways to reduce stress and increase self care. Together, we explore the interplay of primary and secondary foods, identifying areas in your life that require nourishment for overall thriving, both on and off the plate.

Reiki is a gentle, healing technique that encourages relaxation and helps balance the mind and body, while alleviating stress and calming the nervous system. The body possesses an innate ability to heal itself, and Reiki energy supports and enhances this process. My personal experience with Reiki was profound and has played a significant role in my own healing. This experience has ignited my passion to become a Master Reiki practitioner and share this transformative healing modality with others.
"Reiki is love, Love is wholeness, Wholeness is balance, Balance is well being, Well being is freedom from disease" - Dr. Mikao Usui
Health is life and life is health - everything is woven together. Employing a holistic perspective encompassing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions, I believe in the interconnected nature of everything. Through life coaching, I assist in unlocking inner happiness, fostering peace, and harmonizing your journey toward balance, promoting greater physical and mental well-being.
"Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?" - Mary Oliver
As a parent of a young woman with special needs, I have been where you are and understand your journey. We, as parents and caregivers, often find ourselves overwhelmed by the challenges of navigating the world of special needs, frequently neglecting our own self-care and health in the process. I know firsthand the difficulties of supporting your loved one while trying to maintain your own health and balanced life. Through my experiences of heartbreak, worry, and joy, I discovered my calling to help other parents find and embrace joy, passion and vibrant health in their lives. I know how crucial it is to nurture yourself and keep your cup full. Together, we'll explore ways to keep your cup full, allowing the overflow, rather than the depletion, of your energy to benefit everyone around you.
“Parenthood is about raising and celebrating the child you have, not the child you thought you’d have. It’s about understanding your child is exactly the person they are supposed to be. And, if you’re lucky, they might be the teacher who turns you into the person you’re supposed to be.” - The Water Giver
For many years, I focused on physical health, but in the last two years, I've delved deeper into mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I've truly realized the transformative power of breathwork and meditation, which offer numerous benefits for both the mind and body. These practices can significantly reduce stress and anxiety, promoting a profound sense of calm and well-being. Additionally, meditation enhances focus, clarity, and emotional resilience, while breathwork helps balance the nervous system. Together, they foster a deeper connection to oneself, facilitating personal growth and inner peace. Regular practice can also improve sleep, boost immunity, and contribute to overall mental and physical health.
“When things get tough and our bodies start to react, we need mindfulness to reset our internal north star.” - George Mumford
For nearly three years, I've embraced a daily journaling practice accompanied by Oracle cards. This transformative ritual provides profound insights and creates a safe haven to reflect on life events, emotions, and aspirations. Journaling supports emotional well-being by alleviating stress, anxiety, and depression, while enhancing overall mood. Moreover, it serves as a tool to identify stressors, negative thought patterns, and behaviors, empowering proactive problem-solving and personal growth. Utilizing Oracle cards whether it is a yearly spread or a card-a-day has helped me learn how to listen within and has been a touchstone for insight, reflection, and clarity.
